Minutes

1. Apologies – Cllrs. James Day and Brian Rooke. County Cllr. Dave Wood, District Cllr

Dave Rose.

2. Minutes – January 8 2007, signed as correct.

3. Matters Arising – i) Tractor still there, Margaret Harward, not heard from Environment Agency yet. ii) Steps at FP26 have no handrail and earth behind them is subsiding, clerk to contact footpath department. iii) Water is still on the road, near the ex-leaking stopcock. Waiting for improved weather conditions to see if it still happens, or whether the water’s due to high water table.

- ADJOURNMENT – Angela Fleming Brown said she’d seen and spoken to an Anglian Water rep. who’d said there was no problem with the stopcock in The Street. He also confirmed that the smell on the shore was from rotting vegetation, not sewage and said that in the past the drainage ditches were frequently dug out to alleviate the build up of vegetation and smell. Clerk to contact Environment Agency ref. having the ditches cleared.

4. Millennium Green – Inspected and book signed in order.

5. Planning Applications – None.

6. HMS Ganges – No one had been to the recent meeting, but Margaret had, had a report that Shotley PC had met with Haylink and Planning Consultants.

7. Financial Report – Current Ac. £180, Bus. Prem Ac. £3561, Savings Ac. £1545. (£46 interest added).

8. Correspondence – nothing to report.

9. Any Other Business – Annual Parish Meeting set for May 21. Evening to be shared with Village Hall AGM.. APM to be advertised in Parish Magazine. William will be meeting with Graham Jay at the War Memorial on Saturday 17ht at 2pm, ref. refurbishing it.

10. Date of Next Meeting – Monday march 12 2007 at 8pm.
