Minutes

1. Apologies - Margaret Harward, Brian Rooke, Dave Wood.

2. Minutes – December 11 2006, read and signed as correct.

3. Matters Arising – i) no more news of rotting tractor. ii) Steps at FP26 cannot be accessed during high tide. iii) No further news from Gavin Hodge re: Good Neighbour scheme.

4. Millennium Green – Inspected and book signed in order.

5. Planning Applications – none

6. HMS Ganges – no further news.

7. Financial Report – Current Ac. - £579 (£600 was transferred from BP account on 12/12) Cheque to ROSPA had been honoured but account showed a £20.81 overdraft from 23/11. BP Account - £3496 (£1070 is grant money). Savings Account - £1498. Expenditure this month, - Village Hall room Hire £27 for Oct., Nov., Dec.2006. Village Hall precept for 2006 £120. Clerk’s expenses from 1.10.06 to 31.12.06 - £252.47. All agreed and cheques raised and signed. Rodney Freeman had re done the budget for year ending March 2008, which had been agreed during December meeting. Re-approved this meeting.

8. Correspondence – nothing of note.

ADJOURNMENT – Brian Excell, queried the latest blue bin re-cycling brochure. Re-

cyclables seem to keep changing. Clerk to contact Malcolm Firth of Babergh waste management, to arrange a talk at the APM.. Dave Rose said there was a PPA meeting booked at Holbrook Village Hall on January 22 . Angela Fleming Brown commented on Anglian Water’s attitude towards residential dripping taps, when they allowed major leaks. Locally the stopcock in The Street and pipes by Walkgate Cottages.
